Medical School Presidents Best answer on the web

  • I would like to assemble a list of 10 or more former or retired
medical school presidents. I am working on project related to medical
education and need the input of individuals who have lead medical
schools but are not currently doing so. I need their names, the
institutions they ran, and some form of current contact information.
I tip very well for great results.

  • Thanks for your feedback. I'm working on it.

    Guillermo

  • Hello,

I have accomplished the 70% of the task. I expect to finish it within the next few hours. Thank you for your patience.
    Guillermo

  • Great Job! I may be back for more!

  • Hello, jmhines123-ga,

Is your search focused in USA, any other particular country, worldwide? Thanks for your help.
    Regards,

    Guillermo

  • Dear jmhines123-ga:

Before searching for this question, I had never realized that such a tiny detail as the words ?former? or ?past? could increase so much the difficult for a search when preceding, for example, the word ?president? ;-) Current ones are easy to find, past ones is somewhat different. Not impossible, though, and below you finally have what you've asked for.
As you probably know, Google Answers policies do not allow posting private contact information. Instead, business contact information is permitted. Thus, the current contact information provided in each case corresponds to organizations to which the former presidents of medical schools are related now, according to the found data.
The search strategies used for this search were as follows:

    Search strategy 1
    "president of * medical school"
    ://www.google.com/search?as_q=&num=100&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&newwindow=1&btnG=Google+Search&as_epq=president+of+*+medical+school&as_oq=&as_eq=&lr=lang_en&as_ft=i&as_filetype=&as_qdr=all&as_occt=any&as_dt=i&as_sitesearch=&safe=images
    Search strategy 2
"president of * medical school" ?vice
    ://www.google.com/search?num=100&hl=en&lr=lang_en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&newwindow=1&as_qdr=all&q=+%22president+of+*+medical+school%22+-vice&btnG=Google+Search&lr=lang_en
    Search strategy 3
"president of * medical school" -vice -alumni
    ://www.google.com/search?num=100&hl=en&lr=lang_en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&newwindow=1&safe=off&as_qdr=all&q=+%22president+of+*+medical+school%22+-vice+-alumni&lr=lang_en

I hope to have met your needs. Please ask for clarification if you consider it necessary. Thanks for your question.
    Regards,

    Guillermo

The following year, the College?s Board of Trustees invited him to become the Schools first President, and in that role, he convinced the Texas Legislature that state money would be well spent in training Texas students to be doctors in a private medical school.
